I am having pain in my ankle and leg where I have rods and screws in. I broke my ankle very badly 8 years ago. The hardware is still in. It started while sleeping. The pain would wake me up and it feels like it starts where the screw holds in the rod but it spreads the area of the hardware. It feels like my foot is drawing up also. A deep bone type pain. I am going to call my doctor Tuesday after the holiday weekend is over. This is the 4th time it has happened in a couple of weeks. This is the first time it has happened during the day time. The previous times happened while I was asleep at night. I take a low dose of high blood pressure medicine and 1 baby asprin at night.
