I am just newly back to BC and my of GP has retired... I am 51. I need to have a pap smear done and also have some other question with regard to my heart as some problems have shown up in the family and I was told to get tested. I have also have had a fibroid in the past and am wondering if that might not be making a reappearance as my last period was not unlike when that was happening in '05 (excessive bleeding) or it could just be menopause? And finally, if I had some sort of bowel blockage, would anything be getting through?
Would a BC Cervical Cancer Screening clinic be able to check for the fibroids and I am sure I would need a GP for the other?
