hi

You are recently detected with blood pressure, which is nt that high i think few changes in the diet will help you, you should consume not more then 5gms of salt in your diet, eat more of fresh green leafy vegetables and fruits which are high in pottasium thus helps in balancing the Na levels in the body, avoid processed foods, butter(as it contains salt), aginomoto, soduim bicarbonate, packaged foods etc, i recommend you to include coconut water and sweetlime juice in your day to day routine both of which has v good pottasium level, keep your self away from stress and start meditation and yoga, walk for 45 mins daily

i hope this helps

regards

Hi, Thanks for your query,
According to age 140/90 mm of hg is not a big problem. The following will be helpful:
1. Low salt diet
2. two bananas a day
3. two raw petales of garlic per day,

hi sunithi,

Your bp was borderline before which is controllable without medicines by doing lifestyl modification program avoid oily, spicy, junk food, do walkin 3-4 km daily.Start yoga and pranayam which act as stress relevant which is very important. So i think do this measures first and then also BP in high then go for medication. BUT no need of medicine.
From which place you are?
