I Am Now In Pain Often During The Day With

I am now in pain often during the day with acid reflux. I was born with a hiatal hernia. My family doctor has given me nitroglycerin to stop the pain from the esophageal spasms that started a few years ago after a strange gloop feeling and sound when I leaned forward at my desk. The emergency room concluded it wasn't anything with my heart and gave me antacids. I had incredible pain 10 times a day and my family doc treated me for esophageal ulcer and the pain reduced in number but didn't get a lot better until my chiropractor did a visceral adjustment and pulled my stomach down. He said the bottom of my stomach was where the top should be. I got off all meds after that for a few years but now I'm having burning throat a lot and the adjustment doesn't hold and I'm getting the intense pain again and am back using the nitroglycerine to stop it. I'm thinking I need surgery and want the best gastro center in my area. I've googled that but am not getting hernia centers here in Utah County, Utah.
I am 61 years old and need to move forward on this.
