I Am O -ve. Which Blood Group Can Donate Blood To Me ?
Hi I am patient male 42yrs old suffering from Chronic Renal disease from past 10yrs continue on treatment from nephrologist presently my creatinine level is 8.1mgs urea 120,now doctors advise me for Renal transplant/diyalisis ,,but my blood group is o -ve... now my question is which group of donor is needed for transplant.
An O negative person can receive kidney transplant from an O positive or an O negative donor.
( Some centre have started attempting transplant between incompatible blood groups, however it is almost 8 to 10 times more expensive and much more complicated)
thanks for choosing health care magic. You should better leave this to your doctor.Kidney transplant is very tricky issues and there some legal aspects of it.So before going for searching one please get complete procedural information from your doctor. There different laws applicable depending upon the country you stay.
