I am scheduled to have a HIDA scan and have a 4 month old son. I've heard that I shouldn't hold him for 24 hours, but no one told me that when I scheduled the scan. I was told not to give him my milk for 60 hours after the scan, but nothing about touching him. I need to know if this is an issue so that I can secure proper childcare if necessary or reschedule my scan to a date when my spouse is off of work to help me.
