I Am Suffering From Severe, Uncontrollable Muscle Spasms And Pain

I am suffering from severe, uncontrollable muscle spasms and pain in my legs and back. Now have developed neck pain, spreading through my shoulders and up the neck into the left part of my skull. I have been gradually weaning off Keppra for 2 months (down from 1500 mg to 500 mg currently) after a head to head battle with my neurologist who keeps insisting that Keppra has no side effects and isn't the cause of my muscle paid. However, my pharmacist tells me that Keppra can indeed cause severe neck pain which is now what I am experiencing. Been hospitalized twice this week for pain and given morphine. But no results that continue from one day to the next. Even oxycodone doesn't help. Why does my neurologist seem to be so unwilling to cut out the Keppra?
