I am suffering with bronchitis and associated symptoms; its the worst I've ever had, and breathing is hard when moving around because of the infection in my lungs. A close friend that has had the same ailment told me that they got a prescription for amoxicillian 500 and it knocked it right out; but then I read that antibiotics don't work on bronchitis. So do they actually kill the infection? Is there a medication that can be effective treatment for this condition?
