I Am Taking 2000mg Levetiracetam As Anticonvulsant. My Neurologist Would

I am taking 2000mg Levetiracetam as anticonvulsant. My Neurologist would like to introduce Lamictal (Lamotrigine) and reduce and stop Levetiracetam. I am taking now 37mg Lamictal and I have strong sweating periods starting with my head. It happens mostly in the evening and this is time when am taking the medication. Is it common and would it disappear with time?
Thank you
