I Am Training For A 5K Run/obstacle Race. The Race

I am training for a 5K run/obstacle race. The race is in 2 weeks but for the past 3 weeks I have had problems with my right foot. It's gotten worse over the past week. In doing a burpee this week when I landed on my foot I had pain that shot up through my foot. The pain is in the top part of my foot and goes from one side to the other. Below my toes but above my arch. It hurts when I try to bring my toes forward and hurts after my trail run training. After the episode this week I also occasionally experience experience a shooting pain in my foot when I'm sitting. Should I try icing this or taping it after and or during my workouts? Not sure what to do but I really want to complete the race I have been training the last 6 weeks for.
