I Am Troubled By Cough And Cold, Please Suggest
hallo sir i am ram verma my wife having allergy.she is troubled by cough and cold.so what can i do.

Now it depends on what kind off allergy she has ,i mean by what she gets allergy?But try to avoid dust and try to see a doctor ............

after ruling out all the causes of frequent cold he will refer you to an allergy specialist

As per U r complaint......
she could be suffering from.....Allergic Rhinitis with Pharyngitis...
Meanwhile you go for this treatment...
1) Tab. Levocetrizine 5 mg daily night times for 10 days
2) take Alex or Decold cough syrup contains..., codiene phosphate with antihistamine..,
3) If no temperature need not take Antiboitics...,
4) Tab betamethasone (Betnesol forte) daily after lunch..
if not responding....consult concerned speciality..ENT specialist ...and take advise

details of patients history,ASO-TITRE,ABSOLUTE COUNT OF EOSINOPHIL ,auscultation of chest,chest x-ray must be done. allergens should be avoided, sudden change of temp.,to be avoided. drugs like monteleukast+ levocetrizene can be given

If your wife is having cough and cold very often,then it is due to some allergy,either food or pollution.I suggest you give her the following medication:-
1]Tab.Levocet-D 1-0-1
2]cap.Doxycycline 1-0-1
3]Syr.Phensydyl linctus--5ml 3 times.
Kindly visit your family physician if there is wheezing along with cold & cough.
