Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am trying to understand why the doctor put my 24 year old son who is in liver and kidney failure and needed a liver and kidney transplant zeprexa in the ICU as a sleeping pill because he was on the computer at 2 AM and he had no mental problems. They treated me like I was stupid for demanding them to stop over medicating him, but they continued without telling me. They said he took it 4 days and when they didn't give it to him he got confused and had a withdraw from it so they had to put him back on it for his own good. It made him so sleeping that he wouldn't eat, he just starved. Am I so wrong to think they where wrong, because I don't understand
