I Am Type 1 Diabetic 41 Year Old Female Who

I am type 1 diabetic 41 year old female who has shingles. My blood sugar levels have been extremely high for over 5 days since diagnosis and have increased insulin but it doesn't seem to be helping. The pain I am experiencing is excruciating. I am taking anti vitals and not sure if they are working. The rash came up about 5 days ago and still hasn't blisters but is extremely painful nerve shooting pains. I don't have a good endocrinologist and not sure what else I need to be doing.
