I Am ( Was) On Rosuvastatin And Have Been For

I am ( was) on rosuvastatin and have been for around 3.1/2 months and over that time I have slowly turned into a cripple until I was told by a really good friend to stop taking them ,the blood test showed I was back below normal but was told to stay on them for another 6 months ,no I'm not going to take them again , over the last 6 days since I've stopped taking them I can now walk without extreme pain ,I suppose it may have been my fault a bit too , because I didn't ask for a brag sheet on the tablets ,have you any suggestions
