Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I believe I have some detached ab muscles from a procedure to correct a triple hernia (2 in groin and 1 at naval). The procedure included a mesh insertion through the naval and covering to the groin. When I am on my back and begin to sit upright, my stomach looks like a mountain range with valleys. My GP says I am vain but my stomach area appears to expand with even the consumption of 1 small sandwich. Should I seek a corrective procedure and if so what would you recommend? Thanks YYYY@YYYY
