I Came Off Of My Birth Control Pill In August

I came off of my birth control pill in August of 2015. The beginning of July 2016 I had a light period that lasted fou days, in August 2016 i bled a day spotted for two days and had bleeding the last day, September a regular 4 day period, in October I bled for a week (full 7 days) then started bleeding again exactly a week after the first one in October stopped, right after having sex. It's now been two and a half weeks, still bleeding and it's gotten extremely heavier since the last time I had sex (on my period) which was 5 days ago. What is going on? why am I still bleeding and why did I have that week break???
