I Delivered A Boy Month Before And Have Been Feeding

I delivered a boy month before and have been feeding the baby with my milk. my Baby Bitting heavly during brest feeding and I cant tolerate pain during feeding since every once in 2hours i m feeding I cant manage the baby and suffering horrible pain during and have been advised by my gynaecologist to use nip care cream. I see that the cream is very thick and tough to wash off. I would like to know about the cleaning process before feeding the baby. How do I take the cream off the nipple before feeding? Is it ok if the baby consumes little of the cream while suckling?
Orelse is any other treatment for it?
Who will be the right doctor to consult gynacologist or pediatrician?
Please suggest suitable treatment!
