I Feel Thirsty While Asleep And Numbness In Tongue After I Woke Up. What Might Be The Problem ?

my tongue feel numb when i woke up from sleeping surely i bite my tongue while sleeping TMJ can create this problem.. i also feel really thirsty most of the time even if i drink alot of water... mostly i feel so thirsty while im sleeping.. automatically i wake up cause my mouth feel so dry...

Hi,
Numbness of the tongue could be due to compression of the nerve of the tongue. This problem could be due to the habit of biting of the tongue during sleep. Dryness of the mouth could be due to systemic problems like diabetis which should be identified by a physician.

Numbness in the tongue can be due compression of nerve. but only during sleep is some thing new. Increased thirst can be due to many causes .Diabetic is one of them .So get your blood sugar tested,and consult ENT surgeon for tongue problem
