I fell on my knee 11 days ago, it is more mobile than it was however there is a very prominent hard lump like an egg on my knee but no bruising has ever appeared. Ibuprofen works but masks the pain & I end up overdoing it. The pain still wakes me up at night. Is it just a long process? Will total rest speed it up or should I stay moderately mobile? Should I get an X-ray? Walking isn't painful at all
