I fell through a rotten board on a deck about a week ago and hit my shin very badly. Now it has bruised clean up to my knee and the actual spot that made contact is red and throbs badly. Its excruciating to touch, even when my pant leg brushes against it. Could I have broken it or just bruised the bone?
I have a history of DVT though I wasn't sure if you could get a clot in your shin as opposed to your calf (where I have no pain)
