Hey, George, what's up?
You're thinking about the pain too much and your anxiety is triggering it, making it worse.
I had this pain too. It's annoying and scary, thinking you may have a
heart attack or something. I began getting the pain on the upper left side of my chest, and the more I would think about it, the more pressured it would get and radiate to my arm. It freaked me out. I went into the ER twice. I had the EKG done three times on me, had an X-Ray and there is no clot or showing of heart damage. One Dr. said it was a muscle spasm inflammation, and another said it was serious
heartburn. I must admit, I am not sure what it really is, but I don't think it's as serious as a heart attack because I can breathe fine. I do notice that when I burp or release gas, the pain and pressure leaves, little by little. You can't live life thinking about the pain either. Stay busy. If you feel it worsens, go to a Cardiologist or ask to be referred by your
primary care physician. The numbness on your jaw and legs is prob. just anxiety or overworked muscles from playing sports. Do you drink plenty of fluids. I do know that when you overwork the body, per se, exercising, and you don't fuel up, it feels as if the skin tightens with our bones, causing
jaw pain or numbness.
You're 16 and you are not having a heart attack,
myocardial infarction,
cardiac arrest. If you do see a cardiologist, ask for a
heart scan.
Good luck
