I Get A Metallic Taste In Mouth And Tongue. What Could Be This?

I have a metallic taste in my mouth and the end of my tongue feels funny, like the taste buds there are dead? Kinda like if you burn your tongue on something hot. I recently used a teeth whitener given to me by my dentist called Poladay (9.5% hyddrogen peroxide), could this be the cause and how do i get my taste back?

Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum,
The metallic taste can be because of the usage of the hydrogen peroxide as it is a very mild irritant due to production of nascent oxygen. You contact your dentist and tell him about this.
Good Luck

Regards
Dr. Naveen Kumar
