I Got A Cut On Vagina. I Am On Antibiotic For Throat Infection
hi doctor , i m 27 years old, two days ago, i had sex with my husband, and he cut my outer vagina accidentally. i thought it ll heal by it s self, but Now the cut is swelling like Canker sores. what should i do? will it heal by it s self? Currently, i m on antibiotic for my throat infection...is the antibiotic is the cause of the sore as well? thank you

swelling increases in the initial phase of injury & then decreases .Antibiotics are going to decrease chances of infection.Consultation with gynec is desirable.

Antibiotic will rather help in preventing the sore to get infected. The cut has to be examined to know whether it is superficial or deep. Deep cut might even need stitches to make it heal. As vagina is a vascular area, swelling is due to the internal bleeding.
