I Got A Dog Bite A Little Over 2 Weeks

I got a dog bite a little over 2 weeks ago, but a series of events prevented me from getting it looked at. I put peroxide & antibiotic cream on it, but didn't have the time to devote to it that it probably needed. Now that things have settled down a little I hesitate to have it looked at because the wound is almost all healed. I have a stretch of muscle pain on the leg that was bitten, is that normal?
