I got fake nails two months ago and I snapped one back pretty bad, to the point where it ripped out my cuticle and and the bottom of my nail off. My actual nail hasn't joined back into the cuticle//skin of my right thumb. It was quite sore and red for about three weeks and I cleaned it and got all the puss out of my thumb. Now, the whole right side of my nail you can lift up a little, but it's joining back on and it has turned a slight yellow colour. It's not sore or painful anymore and it has been cleaned out, I would just like to know how long it will take before it resumes back to a "normal" nail and or do I have to get removed.
