I Had A Denovo Juvenile Tissue Graft Done On My

I had a Denovo juvenile tissue graft done on my right meniscus on Jan 4th 2016 but caught septic arthritis in the OR. It caused bad atrophy. I'm almost 20 weeks post op now and don't feel like I'm doing so well. I still swell and stiffen very fast and still walk with a limp. To be specific I'm walking with a bent knee through my gait pattern. When I walk my knee is just bent I can't straighten my leg all the way when I walk even though when I'm standing still I can stand with it straight. It's also not strong enough yet for me to stand on the one leg. I'm feeling very discouraged and like I will never walk normally again. I'm scared and regretting the surgery. Is any of this normal? I had an MRI done 2 weeks ago and the graft is intact but my surgeon, despite what I've been through treats me like I'm an alarmist but walking with a bent knee through my gait pattern isn't normal is it? When I try to get it to straighten I hurt myself badly. Please help me.
