I Had A Cervical Epidural Injection On 12-17-14. My Symptoms

I had a cervical epidural injection on 12-17-14. My symptoms were stabbing pain in the left arm. Mri showed pinched nerve. I have a history of neck and back pain, multiple mri's which always show the same, degenerative disc and arthritis and have had numerous injections over the past 12 years, which have given me positive results. I had no numbness in the hands and fingers until after this recent injection and have never had this problem following the procedure. Is this temporary or a sign of permament damage? I also have had very little relief from the pain after 3 days, although I know it takes 3-14 days to get resuts. Thanks
