Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a ct scan and was told that I had several bilateral lung nodules that would seem to be a matastesis but I have never been diagnosed with any type of cancer. I asked for a blood test and was told that all of my tumor indicators were within normal range and that suggest that I was negative for cancer. I was told that I should enjoy the holidays with my six year old special needs daughter and come back in 3 months for another ct scan. The doctor said the nodules were numerous and about one mil. in size but after obtaining my medical records I found that the largest nodule on the left side measured 6 mil. and that just last year it measured between 1 and 2 mil. Should I be waiting for another 3 months for additional growth or should I be requesting some further immediate testing based on these nodules tripling in size in a period of a year. sorry don't have your fee at this time lost job becuase unable to work. Thanks anyway.
