I Had A Heart Attack In Early Oct. Two Stents

I had a heart attack in early Oct. Two stents were placed in upper heart artery. Have been ordered to take Plavix and Lipitor since then. I have recently been troubled with pain in rt leg and also nausea at some time of day almost daily. My cholesterol at the time of my attack was 138. Since Lipitor is suppose to lower cholesterol I don't see the need to take it and to be dealing with side affects. What can I do?
