I had a hernia opp 3 months ago and after that started to lose my sense of taste. Lately I have had some sinus headaches though manageable however lately I'm started to smell tar. I was in a steam room this evening after my daily swim and complained about the smell of tar. However everyone else said it was strong eucalyptus and nothing like tar. I've not let the losing my sense of taste bother me but the smelling tar and sometimes tasting foods of tar are starting to bother me. Any ideas of how I can control this please?
