I Had A Iodine Catscan Of The Lower Right Quadrant

I had a iodine catscan of the lower right quadrant of my abdomen due to a specific area of abdominal pain. . The radiology report said they saw an area on the right small intestine --- report said the small bowel had a mild wall thickening along the ileum with luminal narrowing and mild distention enteritis however other etiologies cannot be excluded. I sought this test because I was having pain in lower right quard. of abdomen. 30 yrs ago I had a laproscope proceed. for removal of adhesions and noted in that report report were a lot of adhesions in cul-de-sac region. About a year after that I had a complete hysterectomy for multiple problems with tubes, overies, adhesions. In 2004 I had a colonsocopy where a polyp was removed in the ascending colon. Hours after colonoscopy I was in the ER with vomiting, fever, & pain. I was treated with antibiotics and was there about 8 hrs. The next day I was fine. This pain I experience now I have had off and on comes and goes but seems to be a little more pronounced than it was (I take aspirin) & it goes away -- the pain extends to right back exacting where paining abdomen is. I had a virtual colonscopy in 2012 with nothing visualized. My primary doctor referred me to a gasterenterologist. Should I be seeing this type of doctor or should I see a women's doctor for a laproscope procedure to view cup-de-sac for adhesions.
