I had a knee replacement 2 weeks ago and am recovering extremely well---EXCEPT- I haven't slept through the night since my surgery. I am taking hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325. I was takine 2 every 4 hours but am down to 1 every 4 hours. I go to bed and go to sleep. The =n I wake up in an hour or and hour and a half. I usually get up and use the bathroom. I am able to go back to sleep but then I wake up an hour later and tart the process again. This goes on all night until I finally get up for good at 7:00. I am exhausted after two weeks of this schedule. I was wondering if I could just try switching to Advil for the pain.
