I Had A Left Hip Replacement Surgery 5 Months Ago.

I had a left hip replacement surgery 5 months ago. In the beginning of my recovery all seemed to be going very well until it wasn't. I am having pain in joint area. The pain comes in jolts in joint and groin area. I also have pain and tingling in ankle and foot that is coming up my leg. My hip has seemed to just give out and caused me to fall .Could this be a type of neuropathy? If so how could this happen? Could I have over done it after surgery or caused this by almost falling a couple of times in the first week or two after surgery?? Or if something went wrong in surgery? Is there any other specific symptoms that could help find out what this could be? I did have ex-rays 3 weeks after surgery and was told all looked good.
