I had a marble size lump outside my anus, i treated for hemmorids and had minor relief, when to doctor today and was in alot of pain. The doctor squeezed the bump and schedule for surgery appoint on thursday. I came home and was still in alot of pain if not more. Took a sitz bath and while cleaning the rectal area, it seemed alot smaller..i gently pressed around the area..and drain the absess/or thrombosis. No blood..but after about 6 times of slow outward pushes..its decreased emensely. I lay down and to my surprise had little to no discomfort..and no longer had sensitive skin in that region..Im a medic and realized that the doctor popped it most likely...want complications can happen and what can i do to prevent them, since i pushed the remaining puss out..i went from 8/10 pain..im now at maybe 1/10 discomfort..let me know.
