I Had A Partial Hysteretomy Years Ago. Have Not Had

I had a partial hysteretomy years ago. Have not had intercourse since, as my husband passed away. I didn't feel just right in my vagina area so looked in a mirror and upon spreading myself can see something similar to the prolapse uterus you could see before my hysterectomy. Also saw a dark purple looking spot. Any ideas?
I am 75 years of age and in good health. Had breast cancer in 1986.
