I Had A Pericardial Window (subxyphoid) 7 Months Ago Due
I had a pericardial window (subxyphoid) 7 months ago due to a large pericardial effusion. I am a 51 year old woman who was very active before but now I remain weak, shortness of breath, and fatigue. On echocardioram my Ejection fraction was 55 but is now stated to be 50. I have a small pericardial effusion now. What questions can I ask a new cardiologist? I have seen 3 cardiologists so far with no answers. I will see my 4th cardiologist this week. I have been dealing with this for 18 months when the pericardial window was diagnosed after being admitted to the hospital for bilateral pulmonary emobolisms.
