I Had A Right Inguinal Hernia Repair Surgery. A Hematocele

I had a right inguinal hernia repair surgery. A hematocele formed in the right testicle sac right after that surgery.

I had surgery 11 months later to correct the hematocele. Day 3 after the hematocele repair I felt almost the worst pain I've ever felt in the right testicle and swelling. The doctor advised me to stop my Percocet and replace it with ibuprofen.

The pain went down gradually over the course of a week. I still have swelling and occasional pain, about a 1. Now with the swelling present my fist sized right testicle flops around and I've noticed a "hollow sound" I grabbed my right testicle and gave it a gentle shake and heard fluid moving around. Almost like its hollow as if you were to fill a jar half full of water and shake it up. My post-op appointment is in 3 days from now.

What could this hollow sound be, and what is the road to recovery?
