I Had A Right Temporal Lobe Tumor Surgically Removed In

I had a right temporal lobe tumor surgically removed in 1997. I understood they were not able to get about 1/3 of the tumor. Have had migraines off and on ever since. Last week I developed a pain in my right ear and throat when I swallow. The pain is sharp but goes quickly. The ear pain happens when I cough, sneeze yawn or swallow. Should I have a new scan to see if the tumor has begun to grow or see if this passes?
