I Had A Right Total Hip Replacement Using An Anterior

I had a right total hip replacement using an anterior approach on April 25 of this year. The next morning I felt and heard a pop. The pain was excruciating. After a brief examination and bedside xray it was confirmed that I had a posterior dislocation. I was taken to the OR for a closed reduction. After surgery I was placed in an abduction brace. I was in alot of pain still so my 2 week check up sas done at 10 days. Upon loosening the brace to remove the dressing a grapefruit size hematoma was noted. Hoping it would spontaneously resolve I returned weekly for rechecks and xrays. The pain was still greater than it should have been. I have worn this brace for 6 weeks now. Friday June 3 I had a CT without contrast.
Finding :
no evidence of dislocation
No cortical disruption to suggest an acute fracture.
