Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a small growth removed 4 or 5 years ago on the back of my neck. He said he was taking more in case it came back malignant, which it did not, he would have gotten the roots. Anyway, the cut was performed in his office and the incision was about 3/4 inch long and 1/2 inch deep wedge. The site healed up nice but months later I noticed it started swelling up slightly and when that happened I pressed on it and got a white dry substance that stinks to high heaven. That has happened periodically ever since and maybe more frequently now. It has never been wet pus but there is no mistaking the smell. Any need for concern?
