Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a small tumor on my palate and three months ago I had a surgery, tumor was removed and thankfully was benign it was a mixed tumor. After a month of my surgery I noticed a white swallen spot again on the same place where tumor was removed, went back to my doctor and she said probably is salivary gland that is swollen. I explaimed to her in the morning when I wake up is ok but as soon as I start eating, talking starts to swell. She removed it a month ago. Now is exactly a month from the time she removed it. Came back again and now I have more then one. Same thing some days only one some days few. Same symptoms in the morning nothing or just a little bit swollen but as the day go by they swell more. Also she mansion to me during the first surgery it's possible that some of my salivary glands were damaged. Please advise I don't know what to do anymore. Should I go for a second opinion or anything that you can advise.
