I had a strange event yesterday. I had a lunch outside at a restaurant on their patio, of BBQ pork sandwich w/BBQ sauce and fries with ketchup. I also ate a couple of tomato slices. I had 1 1/2 mixed alcohol drinks. After the lunch, I experienced strong itching under the skin along my face and behind my ears and down my neck. I have had mild versions of this happen in the past when I ate tomatoes. I eat them all the time but rarely have the itching. All the sudden I got nauseous and thought I would pass out. I was really close to it for several minutes while people put cold towels on my neck. I finally recovered enough for my husband to drive me home. Sometime during the event, I ended up losing control of my bowels with a very runny diarrhea. I don't even remember doing that. What could cause all that? I'm 58 with no high blood pressure or diabetes or any condition. I am way over weight.
