I had a survival abortion 21 days ago . I have been experiencing abdominal pain and went to the doctor today . I had both a Urine pregnancy test and a blood pregnancy test as well as a pelvic exam . The doctor informed me the urine test was negative but the blood test came back positive . Also I had an ultrasound test in the emergency room 14 days after the abortion after experiencing the abdominal pain . That emergency room doctor told me he was unsure of what he was seeing on the ultrasound test at that time , so he sent me to this obgyn today . However he stated he will be unable to review those ultrasound results until he is back on call in the emergency room tomorow . I'm just really confused what is going on and why one urine test would come back negative but the blood test would come back positive ?
