I had a total hip replacement in may this year - had a check up eight weeks following surgery - all ok, I feel now that I am ready to resume driving but I have an old car with low seats - I understand from the OT dept, that the minimum height should be 17ins. is this the case 5 months after surgery and will I put myself at risk of dislocation ? I am 81yrs of age, and in2013 and 2014 had knee replacements - would welcome your advice
