I Had A Triple Arthrodesis Of R Foot Approximately 8

I had a triple arthrodesis of R foot approximately 8 or 9 years ago following talo-navicular fx. that was misdiagnosed for 13 yrs. The surgeon said I had decapitated the foot without breaking the skin. I recently went camping and stepped on several midget boulders (not smooth rocks) by a river. I was wearing hiking boots. Since then I have had a feeling of something in my shoe or swelling ?
and mild pain on plantar side right below this joint. I did not have the 2 screws and staple like thing removed following healing. Could I have dislodged the joint or is there a staple thingy floating under my foot.
