I had a very bad cold which turned into a inner ear infection. My Eustachian Tube was clogged and has cleared. If I try to clear my ear with holding nose, then I feel like a lump or something is in my throat and ear feels funny. Is there something caught in the Eustachian tube and trying to release something? Is that even possible? Is it phlegm getting caught? ENT said everything is inflamed and need to wait it out because I have high blood pressure he cannot prescribe anything else. I have been eating liquids shakes and soups because food particles feel like they get caught in either side of my throat which creates panic.
