Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a very tiny pimple on my inner left thigh(the size of a dot from a pen tip), I popped it and not much came out. It was very simple, not a lot of pressure or squeezing. But later that day an area of about a silver dollar became red and raised around it. I was surprised that it could be so irritated in such a vast radius from the small pimple. I left it alone. And the next morning I woke up to it being a full blow bruise the size of a silver dollar. It has been about a week now and the bruise has not subsided. Do you think popping it caused it to become infected and the infection is causing it not to heal? Is this a sign of bad circulation or diabetes?
