I Had An Angiogram In My Right Thigh On October

I had an angiogram in my right thigh on October 1. Developed infection at catheter injection sight (left groin). Stayed in hospital 2 days. Released about 7 hours ago. I am having great pain just above my outer right ankle, when I walk. The skin is a bit pink, a bit warm to touch. Can I wait to see my surgeon tomorrow or do I need to go to ER tonight? The hospital where I'd go is only about 4 miles away. My surgeon does not have privileges there. The hospital where I had the surgery and where I was just staying is about 40 miles away, and I don't know how I'd get there.
