Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an anxiety attack 4 years ago one Sunday evening without warning. I instantly was consumed with fear of death. Not that I was going to die but the overall fear of death and nothing after this life. I got a check up and everything was fine. I went on Paxil for a time and cleared up to the point I got weaned off for a year now. I have noticed that reglan and compazine bring on the same symptoms. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago and I had a septoplasty. Done fine with surgery but had me taking bactram which i had a reaction to. Broke out in hives, flushed and panicky. I had to be given Ativan which calmed me down. Now I have good days and not so good days where I get flushed and worry about death out of no where. Should I see my dr and get a check up or is it lingering worry from the last attack? What about going back on medicine though I don't want to be medicated to live?
