I Had An Eye Injury In June Damaging The Pupil,

I had an eye injury in June damaging the pupil, the iris and the cornea. Luckily the retina was not harmed. Nineteen stitches were required to temporarily repair my cornea. Two or three weeks later the lens in my eye was removed and a gas bubble was inserted. I followed my doctor's do's and don'ts concerning my eye and a follow-up visit indicated the bubble was dissipating as expected. During the time the bubble was in my eye I could see images of many things although they were still very hazy. Once the bubble completely dissipated the vision in my eye became non-existent, total blackness. Is this the norm once the bubble disappears? Thank you
